|A story of Puzzle|
Puzzles appeared around the 18th century. At that time, puzzles were made by cutting wooden boards into different shapes and then reassembling them as a form of game. This also explains the origin of the term "Jigsaw Puzzle," where "Jigsaw" refers to a type of saw used for cutting intricate shapes, and "puzzle" means a problem or enigma. It is said that in the 1760s, an English mapmaker named, John Spilsbury, mounted a map onto a wooden board and cut it along the borders of counties. People then had to piece it back together, marking the beginning of the commercialization of puzzles.
