Product introduction
★A complete 1:1 reproduction of the classic collection from the National Science and Technology Museum of Taiwan, showcasing the unrivaled elegance of ancient Chinese weapons!!★
Children can assemble and test the crossbow themselves, adjusting the body of the crossbow to observe differences in the string's curve, tension, and shooting range. This hands-on experience allows them to apply the physics, science, and math knowledge they have learned in their textbooks, while also experiencing the historical significance of the Warring States crossbow across eras, making learning more engaging.
The kit also includes a dedicated carrying bag and target, enabling children to use it in open spaces both indoors and outdoors, making it an ideal educational toy that combines learning with play.
The design process adheres to the principles of STEAM education, emphasizing hands-on skills, innovation, and invention. By using wooden educational tools, we aim to strengthen calculation, thinking, and judgment skills, while sparking children's curiosity. We also prioritize product safety and use suction cup soft darts to ensure safe shooting during tests.
|A story of Original crossbow|
The crossbow, also known as the "nu" in ancient times or simply the "standard crossbow," evolved from the traditional bow and arrow. The concept involves adding a mechanism and frame to the original bow and arrow, allowing the crossbow to use a mechanism to hold the drawn bowstring, enabling aiming and shooting. This improvement addressed the limitations of the traditional bow and arrow, which required manual effort to draw the string, made prolonged aiming difficult, and had a limited range. After the Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods 886-6-2435738 BC), the crossbow became widely used and became a standard weapon in the ancient Chinese military.
